In August 2023, a new vacation rental named "Triangle House - Nagi" will open in Shima City, Mie Prefecture.

This is an accommodation facility designed for people who seek great waves and want to experience harmony with the local nature. It's a place where you can incorporate the "extraordinary" from the city into your daily life and travel as if you were living there.

  • Location: 2973 Kozu, Ako-cho, Mie Prefecture.


  • Maximum Occupancy: Up to 8 people.


  • Number of Rooms: 3 rooms.


  • Check-In: From 4:00 PM.


  • Check-Out: By 11:00 AM.

The parking lot allows free on-site parking for up to 2 vehicles.

  • Ice maker provided (you can add ice to the cold bath as you like).

  • Fully equipped kitchen with utensils, cutlery, microwave, rice cooker, refrigerator, freezer, oven toaster, and electric kettle.

BBQ Grill Rental:
The rental fee is 4,400 yen (tax included / payment can be made with PayPay on-site) for the use of BBQ grill, outdoor tableware, and tongs.
※ Guests must bring their own ingredients.
※ Please refrain from bringing your own grill.


Surroundings:
Shima City is known for its thriving seafood and agriculture, with Maki-gaki, a traditional fence made from bamboo, dating back to the Azuchi-Momoyama period. These fences were built to protect against wind and sand, creating a beautiful townscape. While there are fewer chain stores and restaurants in the area, it offers a peaceful life by the sea, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Near Ugata Station, which is about a 10-minute drive away, you can find local snack bars where you can enjoy interactions with the locals.

  • "Yokoyama Observation Deck" is a 16-minute drive away.

  • "Ise Grand Shrine" is a 39-minute drive away.

  • "Shima Spain Village" is a 10-minute drive away.



Access:

  • Nearest Station: Ugata Station.

  • By bus (Anjo Line) from Ugata Station: 12 minutes (get off at the Kozu Shrine bus stop, right in front of the property).

  • By taxi: Approximately 10 minutes.



Surfing:
The property is conveniently located next to a popular surf spot, just a 2-minute walk from Kozu Beach. Kozu Beach features an approximately 3km-long sandy shoreline with eight surf points suitable for various skill levels, from professionals to beginners. The beach's gentle curve and the variety of wave conditions make it an attractive surf destination. The southern 700m of the beach is known as Ako no Matsubara Beach, where beach houses line up during the summer. The northern part is considered one of the top surf spots in the Chubu and Kinki regions, hosting national surfing championships and other major competitions.
